Not to generalize but when I worked for Apple at the Mall at Millenia in Orlando I always found Latin American customers to be among our warmest and most charming visitors. I came across this family the other day in an IMSA Facebook Group when I clicked "Add Friend" on the name of a responder to one of my comments, as I often do. The young man in the center is Mateo Llarena and he competed in last weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona in this LMP3 machine. He's from Guatemala and his story is fascinating.
What compelled me to post this was the professionalism with which his family is promoting his career, with some of the best motorsports photography I've come across, along with striking graphic design and enjoyable story telling.
I'd always wondered what life was like in Central and South America while chatting with my Apple customers. This is a terrific window into just such a life! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009208010943...
He also has a website, natch: http://mateollarena.com
